Chris Ecklund

Chris is the President/CEO and Performance Director for Prevail Conditioning Performance Center located in Santa Barbara, CA. Chris works with athletes ranging from youth to elite levels for enhanced performance, reduced injury, and improved movement function through the most up-to-date training methods and nutritional guidance. Chris has been in the industry for over a decade working in health clubs in both training and management, secondary education developing and implementing curriculum, and strength and conditioning in both the private industry and collegiate levels. Chris teaches Strength and Conditioning and Functional Training at Westmont College , and at the University of California Santa Barbara. Chris is also currently spearheading an internship program for aspiring Personal Trainers and Strength Coaches in Santa Barbara as well as developing Continuing Education curriculum for trainers.
