Omar Padilla

Omar grew up in Lompoc, CA, where he discovered his love for athletics through
basketball, cross country, and track. He competed at SBCC while earning his AA in Kinesiology and an internship in Physical Therapy, which sparked his interest in movement and injury prevention. He ran cross country at Humboldt State and discovered S&C during an internship at Athletic Evolution in MA, where he learned foundational coaching and programming skills. After obtaining his masters Omar coached youth athletes and adults at Titan for four years. He is currently interning with Westmont’s S&C staff to continue expanding his coaching experience. Outside the gym, you can find Omar running, playing basketball, and staying connected to the local athletic community.
